Upon my promotion to Director of Cloud Operations at GH, I have continued to lead the development of small to enterprise-scale web applications, expand our Hosting infrastructure and offerings, and improve DevOps workflows to ensure high-performance outcomes.
Lead Developer & Platform Engineer
Garrison Hughes Advertising | 2020–2024
Garrison Hughes Advertising originally needed a Lead Developer to help continue the development and maintenance of their various web applications, but we soon found that they had a unique need for a Platform Engineer to help them scale their infrastructure and improve their DevOps positioning. Working closely with their Senior Vice President and our development team, I helped architect and implement a highly available and scalable hosting offering as well as create all DevOps workflows to help deliver web applications quickly and reliably. Using a combination of Jira, Bitbucket, AWS, Kubernetes, and many other tools, I was responsible for leading the charge in implementing these solutions and ensuring their successful deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Upon MARC USA's acquisition by 9Rooftops, I took on the role of Lead Technical Developer where I researched and expanded our DevOps toolsets, began migrating legacy servers to Azure, and developed internal processes and tools for code reviews and team collaboration.

I was brought on board to the MARC USA Digital Experience (DX) Team to help develop responsive client-facing websites in collaboration with design teams. I also maintained and optimized web servers to improve performance and security for client applications.
